My Dream Vacation.

Many people ask me what my dream vacation is. Is it filled with white sand and blue water? A relaxed couple of weeks on an exotic island, or a Utopian Meditarian cruise? I always say none of those... Because my life is always so hectic and on the go I want my dream vacation to reflect that as well. I don't like staying at one place for a long time and I get bored easily. So for my dream vacation I have made my own list of the 7 wonders of the world that I would like to visit.
I would like to make this whole trip with in a month and not take too much time off my life here in Canada. I want to be constantly on the go and not waste any time. The places I plan on going on this trip are :

1. Easter Island- Chilie
2. Stone Henge-  country side of Wiltshire (UK)
3.Colllisiam- Italy
4. Prymids-Ciro (Egypt)
5. Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa- Alexandria (Egypt)
6.Great wall of China- China
7. The Tajmahal- India

My dream is to gallivant around the globe seeing all the amazing things life has to offer in a short period of time. I will be embarking on this dream of mine with my Fiance. At the end of April 2011.

Holy TAJ MAHAL!

Our final destination is the most stunning Taj mahal! This stunning mausoleum has been on several 7 wonders list and of course has made it onto mine. I think that it is one of those things that anyone who is a hopeless romantic should see. The Taj mahal was made out of love and has so much love ingrained in each little piece of the palace.
Our journey will stop here and we will be staying in India for a whole week visiting the Taj mahal and some family.  For the week we will be staying in a condo that my parents own in New Delhi. We will be arriving on May 23rd into New Delhi airport.

Coast:

Onto the Great Wall of China!

To visit the great wall of China has been in my bucket list since I was a little girl. The entire area takes my breath away and it is my ultimate dream to spend days there viewing the mountains from the top of the peek of the great wall. We will arrive in Beijing on May 18th and will be staying for four days. We will arrive and will be staying with friends who are currently living in Beijing and teaching English. In the morning of our second day in China we will be going to visit the great wall at 8am. We will be going on a private car tour so that we can go all the way to the top of the wall and also go through much of the scenic route.

One thing special about this trip will be that we will  be taking air Emirates from Egypt to China. Emirates is my most favorite airlines and they have the most luxurious first class cabins, with personal bunkers, and steam showers.

Sunny prymids to scary Catacombs...

We will be leaving Ciro and arriving in Alexandria the same day; May 15th. We will be taking a flight that only takes 2 short hours. In Alexandria we will be seeing the great catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa. Some my be scared to see these underground graveyards but I think its fascinating! I've been told its not somewhere to go if you are claustrophobic and once you are underground you must do the whole tour there is no going back! We will be arriving in Alexandria very early in the morning and soon as we land we will be checking into "Sofitel Cecil Alexandria". Right after we will go and see the catacombs. The earlier you the better so you can can really take the time to see the bones and not be rushed because of scared people behind you!

1. Two first class tickets from Ciro to Alexandira- $5,771 CAD
2. Two nights at Sofitel Cecil Alexandria- $172 CAD per night= $344 CAD

Leaving Rome on May the 13th we will arrive in Ciro Egypt on May the 14th to see the pyramids. The pyramids are made up of pure limestone and cover a large part of the land in Ciro. We will only be staying in Ciro for two days because we need to go to Alexandria! Going to Egypt has always been one of my life passions and one of the most exciting stops that we will be making. When we arrive on May 13th we will check into "Horizon Pyramid Hotel", this hotel is near by the location of the pyramids but we will have a bus that will be picking us up in the morning for the tour. We will be then leaving Ciro for Alexandria on May 15th.

Coast:
1. Two first class tickets from Rome to Ciro- $8,121.88 CAD
2. Two nights stay at Horizon Pyramid Hotel-$200 per night= $400 CAD
3. Two tickets for group tour to pyramid- $100 CAD

Stonehenge crossed off! now to the colosseum

From London to Rome we will be going to see the magnificent Colosseum. The Colosseum was used during the ancient times to hold gladiator games, at any given time the amazing structure would have been able to hold up to 60,000 people sitting and 10,00 standing. The Colosseum is now in the heart of Rome and is a big attraction.
From London to Rome we will take a flight which will only take a few hours. We will arrive in Rome on May 9th. When we arrive we will be staying at just a stones throw away from the Colosseum at the " Anfiteatro Flavio" We will only be staying for 3 days. The next day we will walk to the Colosseum and do our private guided tour.

Coast:
1. Two tickets from London to Rome- $67 CAD
2. Three nights stay at Anfiteatro Flavio- $110 per night= $330 CAD
3.Two tickets for private all day Colosseum tour- $500 CAD

Total: $897 CAD

From Easter to Stonehenge!

From Easter Island we will be heading to the wild place where the Stonehenge resides.
the Stonehenge is  in the country side of Wiltshire. It is the setting of stones in a large circle. They are ancient stones and till this day people are still speculating how these large stones got to where they are and what they night have been used for.
We will be arriving in London on May 5th. It is going to take us 23 hours to get there from Chile using Lan Airlines. We will be landing in the evening and arriving at our hotel which will be in Waterloo called "Club Quarters".
The next day May 7th we will be taking a cab to the train station where the train will take us to Salisburry, from which we will take another cab to Wiltshire. The train ride will be an hour and a half. After the one day tour we will arrive back back in our hotel in London in the evening.

1.Two first class tickets from Chillie to London - $10,858.24 CAD
2. Three night stay at Club Quarters hotel- $199 per night= $597 CAD
3. Round trip train tickets to and from Stone Henge- $220 CAD
4. Two tickets for Stonehenge tour- $35 CAD
